Travel Insurance
San Blas by Boat strongly advises all customers to purchase Travel Insurance promptly upon making a reservation. The insurance coverage should, at the very least, encompass emergency medical evacuation, trip delay (interruption or post-departure coverage), baggage, and repatriation. Should you opt not to acquire insurance, you will bear sole responsibility for any financial losses linked to your travel plans. This decision could result in the forfeiture of your travel investment and/or necessitate additional expenses to address unforeseen circumstances.
Passports, Visas, Insurance, and Health Requirements
The traveler is solely accountable for ensuring that they possess all essential visas, a valid passport, documented proof of insurance, and necessary vaccinations before embarking on their journey. A passport with a validity of at least six (6) months beyond the scheduled completion of the Itinerary is obligatory.
Accommodation
The term "Accommodation" refers to lodging on sailing yachts and catamarans. San Blas by Boat arranges accommodations for its trips through external suppliers and holds no ownership or managerial stake in these lodgings. The prices for accommodations are calculated based on double occupancy unless explicitly stated otherwise. In the case of a preference for single accommodation, certain lodgings may necessitate payment of a single supplement, the amount of which can vary depending on the specific accommodation.
Legal Compliance and Proper Conduct
The Traveler acknowledges that engagement in a Trip may be concluded while the Trip is underway if the Traveler becomes subject to disciplinary measures by civil or criminal authorities, providers of accommodation or transportation, or if San Blas by Boat, at its sole discretion, deems the Traveler's behavior inconsistent with the well-being, safety, or interests of other Travelers, service providers, or their personnel. In such a scenario, the Traveler is obligated to organize and cover the costs of their own alternative travel and accommodation arrangements.
Traveler Feedback
In the event that a traveler encounters any issues during their trip, it is essential for them to promptly notify the person in charge of the trip or another representative from San Blas by Boat. This timely communication allows us to take immediate action and make every effort to address and resolve the situation. San Blas by Boat can only address and rectify problems if made aware of them. Reporting concerns as they arise provides us with the opportunity to offer solutions or compensation to ensure the traveler's satisfaction. If, however, the issue persists, a written complaint must be submitted to San Blas by Boat within 28 days of the trip's conclusion.
